The
Heavy Engineering (HE) business manufactures and supplies custom designed,
engineered critical equipment & systems to core sector industries like
Fertiliser, Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Thermal &
Nuclear Power, Aerospace and Defence applications.
The
HE has good track record of executing large size and complex projects with a
high technology base with major capabilities including in-house engineering,
R&D centres with world class fabrication facilities and experienced and
competent project team and safe work culture.
Area of exposure/Work background:
· Experience in cabling, installation & connectorisation of
electrical & electronic equipment, setting to Work of electrical /
electronic systems.
· Hands on experience in handling various types of terminations
& check-wire preferred.
·
Experience in using PLM & ERP
tools / Production Management Methods
· Exposure to Naval Dockyards / Marine platforms / ship building /
ship repair / electrical outfitting assignments would be added advantage.
Competencies / Skill Set desired:
· Knowledge of various standards including EMI / EMC, Military /
NES / ISO / JSS 55555.
· Knowledge of Quality control & quality assurance techniques.
Job Responsibilities:
· Preparation & control of project planning / progress
documentation & work procedures, Project monitoring techniques. Ensuring
compliance to the project timelines.
· Planning & monitoring installation of equipment, cable
laying, connectorisation on a marine platform involving various types of cables
& connectors.
· Ensuring adherence to requisite military standards, EMI / EMC standards
/ quality norms & completion of related inspections.
· Training of manpower & development of in-house expertise in
electrical outfitting areas.
